Loughcrew Archers St Valentine's SBG - 36 paper faces

This shoot was about as good as it gets (although I say so myself!)
More than 50 competitors turned up on a calm bright morning for this first SBG of the year. Some bows seemed a bit dusty and cobwebbed from a long break!
All managed to keep to schedule during the day so there was no hanging about at the finish. A generous raffle was followed by the awards and everyone started their journey home in daylight.
Many thanks to everyone, especially those who travelled far to the madding crowd.

That's what I call a great shoot. Well done to all at Loughcrew. No time for letting the ball drop on that one - it's the kind of course that bites you on the a**e if your head is not tuned in.
Well done; by far one of the best shoots I have had the pleasure of attending.
