There was a lot of work and thoughts put into the course with some interesting and very challenging shots.
The medals given for prizes where of such good quality, we had to take a couple home!
It was worth the long journey for the warm welcome and a great shoot.
I have to admit it was worth every penny. The hospitality was second to none, (Thanks Helen) We had a great night out with plenty of banter and a lot of laughs. We retired earlyish trying to save as much energy for what was promised to be a tough shoot!
As we all gathered the next morning 51 brave souls formed up and were put in their groups and off we went. Great group I was in - Thanks Guys!
Right from the start and all through the shoot it was obvious that a huge amount of work and effort had gone into this event, with each shot offering its own challenge.
The target numbers and signs were spot on and made navigating the forest very easy and the bridges across the river were the bees knees.
This was not a shoot you could drop your concentration on and it caught me out more than once. At lunch it was clear to everyone that we needed to up our game.
All through the shoot there was a great atmosphere and I really enjoyed every moment.
The raffle was more than generous and I have to say the medals were splendid. My Gold one has pride of place in my collection.
All in all a great weekend; a shoot to remember and friends made that I hope to keep for a long time to come.
Thanks to all at Black Dog, well done to you all a mighty effort indeed!
