Anyone wanting anything different? This was it!

It was as advertised, a pleasant walk in the woods on a warm and sunny day with a picnic half way round.
Willie Carr and Martin McCabe had hidden about 17 3D's along the trail.
Finding them was a demanding task, especially when the sunlight gave a dancing dappled view and cast the shade even deeper. Archers were "finding" targets which turned out to be tree stumps, shadows or just nothing.
When found, shooting them brought another challenge. Although they were at "hunting distance" and fairly easy to score there were no pegs, just the trail. So, where to shoot them from?
As it was, most competitors (competition was not a major feature!) found most of the targets - but no group found them all.
28 entries was fine for an event at such short notice.
Altogether a superb day
