Littlewood Archers Hybrid 18x2 SBG

To the members of the Littlewood club; congratulations and job well done on your inaugural shoot. The hybrid course was a pleasure to shoot; no sneaky stuff but you’d want to have your wits about you to get the shot right.
If there were an award for setting up the nicest shot, it should go to your club for the owl on the tree-stump. It was a gem. Well done who ever thought that one up.
Looking forward to visiting you again for more of the same!

What a surprise that was!!!!! Travelling to a new shoot in a venue that you have never seen is always a bit of a worry - will we find it? Well, no probs there! A great location close to the N4 made it a very pleasurable drive and not hard to spot along the way. A bigger brighter sign could have made it easier but we can blame it on my failing eyesight!
What will the shoot and course be like?
Well, what a great surprise it was! Shooting on an almost flat course somehow sounds easier, but boy! it wasn't even close to what Littlewood Archers HAD IN STORE FOR US !!! You could tell right from the start that this was going to be a great one !
All the shots were expertly laid out with each one offering its own optical challenge.
It's true to say that the experience of (seasoned course layers) was put into action to create a masterful course.
Great signs made it so easy to navigate the course and made the shoot run like clockwork with no bunching or waiting on archers to clear the target.
In my opinion this has to be one of the best shoots this year, it's a credit to you all for coming up trumps on your comeback shoot, a welcome addition to the shoot calendar and I can't wait to shoot it again.
Well done the crew at Littlewood Archers. A shoot to remember for all the right reasons.
