Firstly, we had hoped for a good crowd on Sunday and were delighted with the amazing turnout on the day (69 archers) , especially with it being the
last SBG of 2009. Hope everyone enjoyed the day and glad all survived the muddy portions of the course.
We set up the course placing the 3D's sporadically, to keep everyone guessing. Hope it added to the enjoyment.
Thanks to Chris, David and Martin for marshalling the shoot, a big thanks also to Diane and Aoife for all their help. Thanks to Eddie for overseeing the course laying. Also thanks to all the club members who helped prepare the course and to those who arrived on Saturday to place the targets. Not forgetting David who provided the toilet and the jenny.
The day was pleasant, bright and fine which made for a good days shooting. And we finished before darkness fell.
Thanks to all who arrived and well done everyone who shot good arrows. Hope to see you all back here in the Spring sometime.
