To all at ‘Loughcrew Archers’, thank you for putting on another wonderful
shoot. The course was as lovely as last time. The targets were challenging,
interesting and, in many cases, very natural which made them a pleasure
(and a pain) to shoot!
Hello and thanks to Harry and Darren for the company and conversation as we
wended our way around the course… and to everybody else, it was lovely
seeing you all again! Roll on 11th April, I can’t wait to come back to
visit!!

Many thanks to all that made this one of our best shoots, especially those that were responsible for trying to make it as difficult as possible. It didn't work as I had a wonderful day's shooting with a extremely nice group of people who kept the banter going and thoroughly enjoyed themselves so much that the extra distances absolutely made no difference to them except improve their score from their last outing.
As safety is our No 1 concern at all times, we are delighted that a couple of issues were brought to our attention, these will be looked at and addressed asap.

Plenty of optical and physical challenges rolled into this shoot. A big thank you to Don P for shooting with us this time round we flew round the course coming in First for the break and also at the end. See! twiddlers don't take that long at all.
Don was a great help to us all day keeping us up to date on the latest jokes and was inspirational with his advice and encouragement you could hear him sniggering in the background as my arrows scraped off the target and hit the ground only to be followed by the words TOUGH S**T . I think he enjoyed seeing my brain melting. You're a bad man!!!! lol.
Yes I must admit this was a hard shoot laid out to perfection with plenty of tricks added to confuse even the most seasoned archer. We won't be forgetting this one for a long time to come.
Roll on the next LC shoot I cant wait to shoot it again.
