It's with great pleasure to see that Carrowmore Archers are once more in operation after a considerable break. And back they are with a vengeance. Alan Bostok and David Connell have found a new site and worked hard (very hard) towards this event.
The course, of 20 3D's, is placed in sloping natural deciduous woodland overlooking a lake. Very pleasant even in Sunday's winter gloom, but I can't wait to see it in summer.
All the (brand new) targets gave shots nearly all either up or down hill and although the distances were not daunting, the position of some of the pegs made some shots a major challenge. Altogether a great shoot and great fun.
